Eagle,
Let's divide it down the middle! It would be sort of like a K.I.S.S. folder but bigger. I'll flip you for the side with the liner lock! ROTFL
Paul
That with the "C" strikes me strange. If it really stands for "clip" why does the Snap-It have the code C26 and the Remote Release the code C30. Neither of them has a clip.
After a short pow-wow, The judges have determined that the questions have not all been answered correctly. The wording of the questions is critical....read carefully
Congrats, Chief....Now the proud owner of a C36 GPE Military compliments of Spyderco! Good job.
I know a lot of you thought you had the right answer...many came very, very close. Question #7 was worded specifically.."how many", not "list the tools" . This question I had to get an official ruling on.
Thanks you guys, hope everyone had fun....WE sure did...we had a lot of fun doing this, and plan to do it again real soon.
Chief, please call me with your address so I can get your knife out to you.
Dang you were RIGHT there..so close. I would like to send you something, a different knife. A consolation of sorts. Please call me right away, so we can hash out the details.
Paul was close, but question #7 was wrong. He did not show the double ended extension drive bit.
No hard feelings...it was for fun, for free.
Vince says next contest ya'll will have to pick me out of a picture of the whole crew...
Protein says the 10 below but I only count 9 items listed and one, the clip, shouldn't count anyway. But I think your point was he said "10" even though he may have blown the documentation.
Further on Q1 he added the kitchen line which kinda hedges his bets and on Q8 he says "clip" and not "clipit".
Bottom line is that there indeed may have been grounds to rule his response as "close but no cigar". Darned shame that so many, as Danelle pointed out, were so close but didn't exactly reply to what the question asked for.
So, congratulations Chief!! Now maybe he'll tell us if his moniker has to do with being or having been a Chief Petty Officer, Chief Master Sargent, Fire or Police Chief, or from being of Native american decent.

I did NOT escape from the institution! They gave me a day pass!
You know...I sat their arguing with myself whether the bits and extention would count as tools or not...copying the list of components was vague. Oh well...best of luck Chief... though you must let me know when you get that first little cut on your finger ;-)...
