YAHOO!!! First off I want to say THANKS to Sal for making such high quality, affordable tools. Also thanks to Danelle for setting up this contest and being so customer oriented. I appreciate all the congrats from other forumites.
Bald1--yes, I am active duty military. Am proud to serve as an Air Force Chief Master Sergeant, so you win the moniker guessing game. This C36 Military will be carried in my BDUs daily.
Danelle,
I called and left a message on your voice mail, will call back Monday.

Thanks again!!!

Congrats to Chief! Enjoy your new knife and be sure to give it a good workout and report back here on it. Just FYI, Spyderco's website lists "kitchen sharps" as also having launched in 1981, but I didn't know what a Spyderco was back then!

I wonder if that's the line James Mattis has been crusading to bring back? Sal? Danelle?
Are there more Spyderco knives out there I haven't had a chance to own?

Ian

PS: If I flunk out on my biochem exam in the next coupla days, I'm putting the blame squarely on Spyderco!

Congrats Chief.

Thanks Danelle for a FUN CONTEST. I learned a lot about Spyderco from this contest. I saw some answers to dumb questions I have asked in the past and answers to dumb questions I might have asked in the future!

This contest was just as educational as it was fun!
