Here's a mystery give-away

looks like the covers are made of broken bits of celluloid covers, recycled in a matrix of MOTS.

Alright Mark, you made the most complete guess so this puppy is yours! Send me your info when you get a chance.

The person who sold me the knife told me the stuff embedded in the handles is actually dyed walnut wood chips! Crazy stuff! I haven't been able to find any other info on it in all my searching.

Phillll I appreciate it, but I think Rachel was closer on the handle material. Please give it to her, I just think she deserves it more than me. Thank you friend.

Sounds good to me! Alright Rachel, this one is yours! Nice gesture, Mark.

WOW that was some fast shipping! Just came home to a package in my mailbox, and opened it to find not one, but TWO beautiful knives.

The Remington is top-notch, and bigger than I was expecting. Also, a spiffy little stag Case Peanut! Mike must have been reading my mind because I was looking at single blade stag 'nuts on the big online auction site just last week! Good thing I didn't order one! The quality on both knives is excellent.

Thanks again, Mike. This was very generous of you and both knives will get lots of love!

You sure, Mark? I was just kidding around with the 'mother of toilet seat' thing, and you got the make & model right.

Also, I'm looking around here, and I don't see anything especially mysterious that I can keep this cool thread going with.

Yes Rachel, your guess was better on the handle material. PM me if you need help with a mystery knife.:)

Thanks, Mark. I'll dig around here some more, and see if I can't come up with anything interesting. It may take me a little bit.

And of course, thank you Philllll. I'm looking forward to seeing this one in person.

And thank you, revmic. Those are a nice couple of knives to give away, and a neat idea for a giveaway thread.

Only just seen this thread for some reason. Great going folks :)

OK, boys and girls. I think I've finally come up with something interesting.

We have seen a peanut, and a Corelon covered knife given away here, so the next prize is: a Corelon Peanut

To win it, you must tell me what is unusual about the mystery knife. I will post more pictures, carefully cropped and chosen to gradually reveal more clues as we go. This first pic will probably not tell you much, but we have to start somewhere. :)

Stay tuned!

Good morning, all. Let's try a top view:

Thick blades on that Nut! No wonder there's no centre-spacer. The minor blade even looks like a bottle-opener...... Maybe Cell?

Thanks, Will.

That looks like one of those "key" knives that dealerships used to give out.

We have a winner! Glennbad, please PM me your info, and I'll send you the Peanut.

I wonder how old a Chevy you'd have to have for this key to work?

That's nice to have the Chevy logo, and an uncut key as well.

Well, thanks Rachael!

I will dig something mysterious out soon...
