Here's a mystery give-away

This mystery should be pretty easy to figure out. Something isn't quite right...

First person to figure it out can claim this little guy...

Great little 104OT, used but not abused, comes with patina included.

Sorry Mark, close but not quite.

Doesn't the plus usually mean stainless?
edit, sorry I though these were pics of the same knife.

But also, this one appears to be bone, aren't most Uncle Henry imitation stag?

This is a very cool, informative thread
I'm too knife-ignorant to be able to "play", but I sure have enjoyed watching others solving the mysteries!

Close enough, Red05...this knife is actually from open stock. It's jigged Delrin, and as you said, the UH line is imitation stag. Here's the knife...

PM me your shipping info, I'll get the 104OT sent of to you!

Awesome, thanks! This has been a fun thread.

**I posted a visitor message for you. Thanks

:eek:NOO! I was going to guess that, but then thought, "Just because the 5 Uncle Henrys I've seen all had Stagalon handles doesn't mean they all do." Life lesson learned: nothing ventured, nothing gained; no guts, no glory; trust your instincts.:D

Congrats on the Old Timer pen knife, red05!!:thumbup: Are you going to post a new mystery to keep this thread going??

This has been an educational and enjoyable thread for me. Thanks to revmic, philllll, r8shell, glennbad, and Markesharp for the puzzles, and for the interesting knives they gifted.

Thanks, and funny thing is yesterday I had carried my only Uncle Henry. I would like to keep this thread going as this has been a fun thread. But I'm not sure I have any knives that are a mystery lol. I am going to see what I have but hopefully someone else can step in and keep this going if I can't find anything.

Look what came in the mail today! Thanks, Phil.

The colored pieces sure don't look like dyed walnut chips. It's hard to photograph, but when I look under some magnification, there is the iridescence and sparkliness you see in some acrylic covers. Neat!
Thanks again.
