Okay, I'm saving up as much cash as possible to be one of the first to buy this knife when it comes out.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
It is definitely different from the norm. . .
I made quite a few double guard designs in the '80's. . . . This is a new spin on an old design. . .
The fuller is there to reduce blade weight. . .
It feels great in the hand. . . .
Let's drink!

those army style blades aren't my thing in general, but that's the coolest one of the sort I've ever seen...![]()
It's like a traditional Ka-Bar styled blade has been given a massive Busse makeover. I can see a fair few of them selling to the military guys for sure.
I'm sitting on the fence though as I like the blade shape but would change the handle. Would need to handle one before I really knew if it was for me.
When you get ready to release them just go ahead and add my name to the order list right away.
Kinda looks like a Busse improved USMC K-Bar, it even has BUSSE were the USMC logo would be......
No wait a minute where did I see that idea before?![]()

I don't know ...
Still, it is quite the "sexy" blade.
