Hypothetically..... if a person wanted to get rid of his or her collection of khuks, what is the legit way of letting the forumites know? Or is there a legit way?

whoah whoah whoah.... calm down benny :eek: , nasty was just doing his job before and the "watcha selling" was just a little bit of sarcasm/humor ;)

per blade forum rules you have to upgrade to gold to sell and it must be done in the exchange section of the forum :thumbup:

nothing wrong with pushing khuks at all... in fact a large portion of my collection was obtained in the exchange :D

Thank you for the information Jai. And Nasty.... I ask a simple question and you accuse me of attempting something underhand and sneaky. If thats not "insulting another member" I don't know what is.

Actually, there might have been a legitimate question in there. When I was a gold member (temporarily have lapsed) I could sell but it was never clear to me how I could let Cantinistas know that I was selling. You have to sell in the for sale forum and I don't think you are supposed to say "hey guys, go look at the for sale forum cause I've got khuks for sale".

Anyways, maybe I'm being naive, but thats what I thought he was talking about.
 
I think the problem wasn't with the legitimate question, but more about calling the mod a jackass.

Everything would have been fine if it wasn't of that insult.
 
Hmm, I just read this thread and the first thing I thought was that Nasty jumped the FAQ card on this one (to mix metaphors.)

But then I read the response. Whoa there!

I thought the question was legitimate, but I am not aware of past issues. He wasn't asking how to sell, but how to let formites know about it, if possible. I certainly don't know the answer and I don't think the FAQ covers it. Nothing jumped out at me.

We had a go around on this last month that HI Khuks can and should be listed in the custom forum....
but you have to be gold to sell them and if a person lists things are for sale and then gets emails and sells direct that is not fair to those who have a paid membership.
So the question of how do I let others know is a form of sales to me as a gold memeber. As it is I have several for sale and would love to be posting reminders if I could and I am a paid memeber.
In fact now you have to wait 72 hours to respond to your own sale thread so it does not bump.
 
We can settle this in one of two ways. Either a muay thai rope fist match of coarse by ancient rules with glue and crushed glass applied to the hand wraps. Or we could all meet at an abandoned warehouse circle, tie their hands together and have a good old fashion knive fight.After there is a winner we could all dance like in the Micheal Jackson video "Beat It" that would be cool.:cool: With each mans best khukris of coarse. I vote for the rope fist match. Whos with me
