Here's some pics. Busse's, sheaths, and guns!

Thanks for all of the compliments. I got the sheaths from Leatherman a couple months back and finally got around to taking some pics. I love that Kydex Fusion, they're great sheaths.

Has any of that stuff been shot before?
I've shot the USP quite a bit but have yet to shoot the LMT.

Sweet!! You've gotta love the clean lines on those straight handles!

Paddling Man asked me to post something about this beauty over here.

It is a Smith & Wesson 66-1, Factory Class "A" engraved, 2.5" round butt, Pinned & Recessed. I almost bought one just like it 15 years ago in Norfolk. I went home to think it over and when I returned, it was gone. Therefore, when I saw this one, I bought it immediately. It was NIB when I got it (2001), but made in 1979 according to the Factory Letter on it. It came with smooth Goncalo Alves grips, but I put these stags on it because they looked and felt better. I have an order in with Roy Fishpaw to get some custom stocks, so it will get something fancy when my turn comes.

With the old original grips, VersaMax-2 holster, and Meaner Streets (gone):

Very, very cool!! Thanks for indulging me. That is a sweet revolver!

Some day... ;)

You are killing me with that model 66.

You know what would be ricky tick? Have that Milt Sparks redesigned with a sheath built in for the AD.

Looking for venison. The ugliest HOGFSH with 1925 Winchester 54 and 1926 Remington Model 30. I shoot real old stuff!

What chambering for the rifles? I love the Model 30. I had an opportunity to buy one in .30-06, but passed. The 725 is another vintage Remington bolt that I love. That old Enfield pattern action is obscenely strong.

My "old" guns are a pair of Mannlicher-Schoenauers. One is a 1920s vintage 1903 in 6.5x54MS. The other is a 1954 MCA in .243WIN. Magnificent pieces of hardware. No pics, though. I need to fix that.

Both are 30-06. Winchester is first week mfr of modern bolt action Winchesters #2nn. They're both still as accurate as any new mfr open sight rifle.

Must they be in the wild?
Here are a few toys i had out last night, not including what is in the 'big safe'

Wow. That 54 is a serious piece of history.

I love old firearms. Martial Mausers exhibit a level of finish that is simply mind-boggling.

Yep! They are the original king of bolt actions. Many Pre war examples are beautiful works of art and functionality.
