Hey Hunters... What Knife Are You..

To be honest, I will likely use the same Buck Vanguard I have used for a long time on the first. If I get more than one, I am trying the RC 3 out for sure

RC4 for deer and turkey.

Busse NMSFNO for ornery neighbors.:)

_______Rat Pack #106_______

I haven't hunted for decades but I have been thinkin' about getting back into it as part of my disaster preparedness plan. If I do, the RC-4 will be on my side.

I'll probably use my RC-3 at some point. But I love my Bark Rivers and I have an old Marbles that I've been using for years.

I used rc-3 last year for hog and deer, probably the same this year it has not done my wrong as of yet....Drew

Having never getting a deer and being a once in a blue moon hunter; do
you think the Izula would be enough? I have a RC4 also.

It really doesn't require a very big knife to field dress a deer. The Izula blade will do the job but I prefer scales on my hunting knives. If I had the two you mentioned, I would carry the RC-4.

carried the Rc-4 last year. Will carry the Rc-3 this year.Carried the Rat-3 and it worked out Great.
Did I say I like Rat Knives:cool:

RC-3 or Bravo-1 and an Izula, I "might" have a SAK on me too!
Damn... I might not have enough knives with me. Perhaps I should go deer hunting with a RC-10 too?
I cant wait for November!!!

I'll carry my RC-4 into the field. I have a couple Dozier's I use exclusively for skinning. RC-4 will be great for field dressing and quartering. During the early part of the season in South Texas, you have to get them in the cooler or ice chest quickly. Not unusual to hit the 90's in early November or wear shorts on Christmas day.

Competition is stiff this year....

RC3, RC4, HCLE, Scrapper 5,........Waki...... I dunno. I guess it depends on how many deer I get. Have to try a different blade for every one!!

I used an old 110 for years and years until my little brother laid it down (open) in a snow bank and I was not to keen on digging around real hard in snow with my hands to find a razor sharp $25 knife.
