Hey newbie, as in ncsochanator or whatever you call yourself, this ain't ebay and you can be banned pretty damn quick for trying to outbid me or anyone when they say they'll take a particular item be it a knife or whatever here on the forums. Read the rules, introduce yourself and don't be a jerk. keepem sharp

Hey Longbow no need to get bent out of shape. As i see you were able to figure out from my profile i am new to the exchange. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/announcement.php?f=751&a=98 is the rules that i read. Can't find anything about offering a higher price for an item. Yankee said he would take the cuda before you did anyway. Think you could point me to where i could find the rules you're referring to? Thanks

Gentlemen, these posts were moved from a sales thread. Please don't squabble where a seller is trying to move product. The knife you wanted is gone, don't interfere with his chances to sell the others.

longbow, take it easy on the new guy!

ncsochanator, welcome to Bladeforums!

We do have rules. Begin with the FAQ, especially the rules for buying, selling, and trading. Browse through announcements and stickies at the head of each forum. It will take time to get a feel for the complexity. :)

One of our rules is that sales forums are not auctions, which is why offering a higher price is out of line. Offering a significantly lower price would be wrong also. Offering to take the knife is what the seller is looking for, so anything else should really be done offline. Since Registered Users don't get to us our Private Message system, that means email or Visitor Messages. Just remember that Visitor Messages can be seen by everyone who clicks on the username.

If I had been paying attention, I would have taken the Maxx at that price so fast ... ! :D
