Can you explain why i was charged 19.00$ on my account? No call or email from Emerson while waiting for warranty work...

So now my super commander cost me almost 50$ more.

Why in gods name did you not call EKI and ask this question? Reason I suggest this is when you call EKI directly they will know who you are, the details of your account, and what & why charges are for.

Asking a question like this to EmersonRep on this forum is a tought one for EmersonRep to answer. EmersonRep is starting with no real information to try & sort out. Because EmersonRep is not at EKI where the records are, and whys are.

It's almost 7p here and they close at 5p so you'll have to call in the morning. Aim for 9am. Did you check the box to have it sharpened?

to help the Rep out it is because its $14 for shipping and $5 for sharpening equaling $19 and it was on the form you filled out to have the work done. nothing hidden or not mentioned

Cost 19$ to ship out. I think alot of peopke are answering to a post that has nothing to do with them. Why would i pay to sharpen a brand new knife? The problem here is i was told i would be reimbursed for shipping which im being charged. All the people that defend this situation have read my first post?

Can noone understand my frustration? I dont have time to call tomorrow and they don't work on the weekends over there. Why have a rep on a forum when customer questions cant be answered?

I'm a rep and moderator for this forum. I don't work for EKI directly in their shop. I volunteer to help them out and do all of this on my own personal time. You asked your question at 7pm pacific time. They close at 5p. Your question is a specific question in regards to a specific order. It was a not a general customer service question. If there's no way you can call us Mon-Fri from 8am-4p then you can also email them at Info@emersonknives.com

It was under the post "Ever Seen" bought a brand new super commander that one of the stand offs knicked the blade. Im almost sure i would have not wanted a branx bew knife sharpened for 5$.

OK well you need to understand that I didn't have all that information. Maybe you should start off with that next time. Where did you buy this knife? Dealer? This would be so much easier for youself and EKI if you just called tomorrow or whenever during business hours. I can't get any specific information for you.

Yeah its cool. Bottom line people shouldn't be charged unless comtacted first. This isn't a way too business. Its ok thanks for listening to me rant.

The reason is to streamline the process. You can write a note saying "please don't charge this card number until contacted first." I'm sorry you're not familiar with their policy but I'm sure you'll take care of it tomorrow.
