Hey Sal, Military compression lock still in the works?

I hope they leave the Military alone. It’s perfect. If you want a backlock get the police 4 or the native chief. I just got the Chief sprint in CF and S90v, its impressive.

I'd like my Chief but USPS lost it 9 days ago:rolleyes::thumbsdown:

Bummer. Hope they come through for you. The Chief carries so different from the military. Long but compact. I may switch the clip to tip down but for now it feels nice out of the box. You can tell this has been in the works for a long time. I think the idea goes back to the early native development.

Hi Co556guy,

We can do it all except for the flipper on bearings. Sorry.

sal

You don't need to be sorry. You know what's possible, and if the only part of that list that can't be done is flipper and bearings....

It would still be awesome.

I want more button locks. It's the only comp lock I like

I could get behind a button lock. I just happen to prefer the better strength and slick action of the comp lock over liner lock. Frame lock, I'm more open to but I still prefer comp lock because of how it works.

This, the Smock has really made an impact on my carry habits.

Does the button lock it closed as well, or just open? I have 1 button lock knife and it locks closed, which I dislike. It's on bearings and doesn't have a detent, so it can be wrist flicked but I just dont like that.

No, it is simply a Compression Lock with a button attached to the spring, so you unlock without "pinching" the middle of the knife. Addictive!
