Hey Sal!!! When?? Knifeworks Ti/Carbon Fiber/S90V Military

Maybe I'm searching incorrectly, but I've only found 1 other short video with no talking, just showing the knife, and one video which appears to be in Ukrainian/Russian.
Any links would be appreciated.
No I think there’s 3 or 4 for sure at least from a quick search .
Didn’t spend much time searching for more so that might be it .

Guy is correct. Surprisingly there are not many youtibe videos talking about this military.

I just did some more searching and that is correct . Many about the military but not the KW model .

Michael Christy's video was pretty good. Getting the knife sharp enough to whittle the same piece of hair multiple times is awesome and then to do it freehand is a flat out impressive skill set.

Stropping is key. I have found that the S90V on this model really responds well to stropping. A couple passes on the medium and then on the fine sharpmaker stones and then stropping on the rough side of bare leather is enough to make this shave with barely a touch. If I had diamond paste or CBN, I believe it wouldnt take much more to achieve the hair whittling edge.

That is so tempting. I was going to pick up a zt 0450. I can get it for 118 shipped, but 199 for this knife makes for a decision process.

I already bought one in November and it is such a good knife. I'm torn because I already have this Military and really want a smaller, lightweight knife like the zt 0450, but if I ever lost this military, I would be so sad.
I know I should get a back up cause when its gone, its gone and this knife is worth having.
Add in that funds are tight as usual and it makes it tough to but a knife for a backup.
dooo it! don't think anyone will regret it.

This won’t be on sale in a few hours, I’m guessing. Buy one, and then you won’t have to worry about making the decision anymore.

Just picked one up from Knifeworks. Materials, manufacturing and design are all at the top of their fields. An all around incredible tool even if you paid retail. It really blows my mind to think that you can purchase this folder for under $200. It has to be the best deal in knives going right now. I'm sure it'll end up being my EDC for at least the next year or so. Great job Spyderco!

Better get a second if you really like it. Its a sprint and when they are gone, they are gone for good. Word on the streets is that there are approximately 50 left.

And yes @ $199.00 this knife is a friggen hell of a bargain

Meh, no one is or will ever be as smart as me!

I actually woke up on 6 AM Pacific Time the very first day when these were release and bought my first one full pop at $279. I was very, very tempted on several occasions when KW kept offering these at reduced priced till I could no longer hold and folded for a second one when they were offered at $199 a few months back. Then after a few weeks, I thought to myself that I wasn't going to use the 2nd one and quite honestly, the grind lines on it were no where as nicely done as the first one so I let it go for $175.00.

I'm now proud to state that with the loss I took on that 2nd one of these, my average price point for a KW CF/Ti S90V exclusive is over $300.00, so beat that you smarty pants! :p

I heart mine and has the perfect grind at 199.00 :p

I have 5, 3 at the first sale price and two at the current price. The first one has not needed sharpening yet, as it in rotation with full Ti , cts-2049 and cruwear. I think I’m good for at least 20 years, at which point maybe I’ll try another model, maybe even from another maker who knows? I always have a Millie in my pocket, even if the other pocket has a ZT or other brand.

I agree with you on the grind lines of this model. I bought two, neither of which has as evenly ground lines as the cts-204p version may have something to do with the steel. One of them has poorer grind lines for which I contacted KW and was told that staff went through about 50 which all had the same/similar grind lines.

Talking about how many of it KW still has in stock, about two months ago it was said there were about 50. This model must be moving VERY slowly obviously. I think it is wise for you to move your second one. I don't see this knife's price will go up in the secondary market in the near future even after it's sold out by KW. It is absolutely a beautiful and high quality knife to me though.

The original one which I had bought as compared to the second one, showed "perfect" grind lines and uniform blade "satin" color but the price of $199 was a fantastic price and great value for an otherwise   sprint run Millie with all those goodies. I let it go simply because I decided that I was not going to use it and it was just going to sit around. Offered it to my younger Bro before letting it go, but he didn't like the size (not a knife guy who deemed it as too large) so I got him a Shaman instead for about the same kind of dough :p. Nevertheless, some BFC alum got a great deal on my 2nd KW CF/Ti and there are often a few of those floating around on the Exchange in that $170-$185 range for those "early bird" types who are not shy about buying Like-New albeit still a second-hand one!

Also yes, what causes those grind lines discrepancies and oddities seems to be the choice of steel with that kind of blade finish.
