Hey xaman

not a bad idea --- it might actually help at the trough in Atlanta too

Thanks for the replies! The best bike I ever had was a dedicated DHR (waay too good for me) that I traded a boat I couldn't sell for. People not up on bikes freaked out! But that bike sold to the first guy to look at it and for more than I paid for the boat!

I missed this thread...

Some great lookin MTB's among the road bikes.

Here is mine:

I'll be going back to a steel framed bike after this one fails.

the MTB's are mine. Tony wouldn't know an MTB if it landed on his head

What is that Ellsworth thing I have?

But you are right since I got the cross bike I never use that thing it is way too sloooooow.

Hey at least I still own all the bikes I posted.:p

.

Had a buddy that had a VERY negative experience with Ellsworth's warranty policy this past Summer/Fall. Glad you don't use it much. If that sucker broke, which is a VERY uncommon event, you would be in for months of headaches... :(

Since you're not riding it, you can always send that Ellsworth thing to me so I can compare it to my Dirt Works :D.

Just out of curiosity the other day I checked to see if a road wheel would fit in the Dirt Works, and it does clear. I'm thinking of getting some wheels built with disc hubs and road rims and giving that a try. I know it wouldn't be as fast as the road bikes, but it would be different....and I'm a big fan of different.

BTW Jeepnut, nice bike with the old Bontrager. I'd love to find one of those.

I guess you need a cross bike to keep up off road huh?:p
Gee, if you find the perfect bike why do you have so many? :D

Posted my 2-wheeled junk in Gadgets & Gear:
Bicycles

Love those bikes and hopefully the dual squishy will live up to the expectations that my old rides have...
