I know I didn't get a chance to do much meeting and greeting at Blade. So I thought maybe it would be cool if the newly inducted made with the formal introductions and told us more about themselves. A couple of you guys are pretty well know but some of you guys are unfamiliar to me at least(I'm usually behind the info curve). It wouldn't hurt for the old hogs to do the same so the new guys know more too.

I'm John. Father of two. Stay at home dad and former restaurant owner. I am half heartedly looking for work (remember Jerry, I volunteered to sweep floors for INFI:)). I once had an awe inspiring collection and now it is a shell of it's former self. As some can attest I am an avid INFI enabler. Despite what you may have seen at Blade, I am not a girly man. Don't chuckle or I'll bust you with my purse! Let's see is there anything I missed? Nah, that about covers it. Who's next?
 
Hi, I'm ronybear aka porkybear aka Ron Hall. I am a former school principal, now retired. I currently work parttime at Lowes as a Kitchen Cabinet Designer. Been doing that for 5 years, full time until just recently. I live in Paducah, Kentucky. I was a school Administrator in Broward County for 32 1/2 years. I have three kids, my oldest, Matt, is in the school system in Fort Lauderdale, my youngest son, Marc, is in the Police Department in Charleston, S.C. and he is in the Marine Patrol. He is also a inducted HOG and has gone to Blade with me the last three years. My daughter is a Junior in college at Western University in Kentucky. I love Busse Knives. I love the gathering of the Hogs and Jerry and company are the BEST!!! I welcome all you new hogs, you are included in a very fine mix of guys and gals that are top notch!!! You will want to try your best to go to the Blade Shows and also Knob Creek. That is a Hog Requirement!!! I have a meager collection of Busse Knives compared to some but Jerry does refer to me as Uber Hog! :D :D :D ​

I work at a small company in the semiconductor industry. I live in Silicon Valley.

The oldest thing in my collection is my EU-17 Magnum, but I would like to get an old school straight handle one of these days.

I think my small collection is pretty nice but I don't have a matching collection of designer purses.
 
hello everyone,
my name is jason. i am 28 and i am a demolition contractor by trade, and i tend to be really hard on things:p which is what brought me here. i have quite the varied collection of blades ranging from case to crk and all sorts in between. i am new to the world of Busse but thanks to progunner i will hopefully have my first sometime next week a (BATAC urban w/bl g10). as i understand it a slippery slope after your first but if mine performs half as well as all the other fine blades posted here i don't think i will fight it too much:D. i have never been to blade however i am going to make it a point to attend next years show. gotta start wearing the wife down now:foot:. well i look forward discovering all things busse thanks all!

I'm Chuck. My HOG name is Gee 19 lbs of Pork, Gee 26 lbs of Bacon. I'm an INFIholoic.

I'm from Southern Indiana. I'm Senior Electrical Maintenance Tech. I've got a modest collection of INFI, Rats, and Dogs. I center my knives around TAN/TAN configuration. I've been to the last three BLADE shows. The last two were with my wife Barb-B-Q celebrating our anniversary. This year was our 29th (June 10).

As always, Jerry and the entire Busse crew made us feel like family. Family that is just begging to give him money though.

The Infi-Flu has spread and my wife is planning her next purchase. :thumbup:


I have really enjoyed getting with fellow forumites at BLADE and various gun shows. Don't ever let Knob Creek machinegun shoot pass without checking it out.

Hi, I'm Aaron a.k.a. Porkman157. I live in Lafayette, Indiana. I am a Project Superintendent for a Mechanical Contractor. I have three children that keep me very busy. The oldest is 7 and the youngest is 1. I love Busse knives and my collection is growing slowly. Every person I met at Blade was friendly and a joy to talk too.
 
Hi, I'm Old Physics, aka Old Pigsics, aka Moldphysics, aka Jamie. I am an INFIholic and also, apparently, an INFI pimp (just ask Jerry).

I am a retired USAF officer, physicist, engineer, and program manager. These days I'm a Senior Project Engineer for The Aerospace Corporation in Northern Virginia -- so I guess that makes me a rocket scientist. I've been a member of the Intelligence Community for decades with all the positive, negative, and just plain weird things that implies. I work in the national agencies and my professional specialties are solid state physics, quantum mechanics, lasers, and modern optics.

My wife (another retired USAF officer) and I have four darling children. Jessica is a Bryn Mawr graduate and a young executive now moving into the Vantage Group up north of New York. My middle daughter is Rebecca, who is just finishing her undergraduate education (well -- soon) with a bachelors in Communications and another in Video and Film. She's a multiple black belt in Tae Kwon Do and is definitely my bodyguard. Our youngest are twins, just graduated from high school -- Ben, a budding Computer Scientist, and Bethany, the artist in our family (on her way to Art School).

The USAF 'abandoned' us in Virginia decades ago...and it looks like we're here to stay. We have a modest but growing collection of INFI, Dogs, and Rats and are happy to know all of you crazy Knife Knuts.

I work for this company that alot of you have not heard of:confused: :confused: LOL.....

I have a deaf dog (Boosay) and a Cool Cat named Willie B. and I have the BEST JOB IN THE WORLD!!!!!

Hobbies include cooking, talking and "Bringing It" LOL:thumbup:
