Cool thread Progunner, and great responses everyone...

My real name is Eli Gautreaux (cajun family, but Texan by birth ) Concerning what i do -- I'm an ordained Christian minister. I spend the majority of my time mentoring university students (thus the Huntsville residence - connected to Sam Houston State University.)

I've got a lovely wife of 15 years (many of you met her at Blade '06) who is extremely patient with my hobbies -- even this current and most expensive Busse addiction. I've got 2 little girls, eleven and eight, the pride and joy of my life. Outside of that, I love to hunt and fish. My only other "collection" consists of hundreds of old, out-of-print books, mostly theological in nature.

I got connected with Busse through the Swamp about 2 years ago. Just stumbled onto them through Bladeforums if I remember correctly. My OCD took me quickly from SR101 to INFI, and it's been a slippery slope ever since. I have a meager but slowly growing collection, including a few pieces that still "blow me away" every time i pick them up...

I've been amazed at the caliber of people and the quality of business from the Busse Combat family. I'm having a load of fun hanging out here :thumbup: :thumbup:

Thanks, Guyon. I'm learnin the ropes! I know how these guys operate from
the last Knoboganzaaa selloff! I was new to Swamp Rat and Busse at the time, but I did score a Steel Heart (SHSH Variant), which I just received in the mail yesterday. I'm like a kid in the candy store with these knives.
I look forward to a friendship with you and all the members. Everyone has been very helpful so far. I'm finally coming around to learning the abbreviations for the knives. Still have to check back to my list once in a while.

The last two were with my wife Barb-B-Q celebrating our anniversary. This year was our 29th (June 10).

I was pretty lucky at Blade this year, by winning a chance on a Fogo steak knife, and also winning the "billion" dollar gold AK-47 Induction knife! What a way to spend an anniversary! Oh, also thanks to Hogwash for the Johnny Walker Blue Label anniversary gift!

My first official Busse order -- the Sus Scrofa - green linen w/ urban gray blade! I guess I'm going to have to find a great job, or start selling plasma to support my INFI habit..... Thanks Jerry et al....
