Well the .454 is a popular caliber for pistol hunting in South Africa (which is tough to get licenses for entry (the Gov't hates handguns).

Actually you are "backed up" by 1 or more PH's with rifles (375 H&H to 470NE) especially in the case of Lions because the 'pride can get the better of you'; pun intended. :D

good afternoon,

no pics at the moment. this will serve as a bump and be able to ask a quick question, i am going to blade, my first trip. i want to bing back something tangible,
my idea of that is a busse knife, will busse have blades for sale there as well as showing them? i have my tickets for the early entry on friday...

Are you asking if Busse will be bringing blades to sell at the BLADE show??? Oh, boy... Are YOU in for a treat!! IF you actually survive the stampede at the Trough, and don't find yourself trampled by a bunch of INFI addicted HOGs, then yep... Bring your cabbage! There will be lots for sale. :D:thumbup:

i appreciate your reply, i look forward to buying a busse of some description, i have talked to dobywon several times on here and by e-mail, you all seem like very good people and i look forward to meeting some of you and maybe socializing, this will be my first busse knife, although i have many others custom and high end productions.
i have to have a busse and i am sure that many more will be to follow.

thanks again and i am looking so forward to the blade show, this will be my first blade to attend as well...
