It is FUN!!! We used bait... it was just off of Isla Mujeres (right off of Cancun). They were hitting like crazy on the first day... but barely a bite the 2nd day. :grumpy:
Here's a pic of a nice tooth cuda for ya.
man, that brings back memories. we used to take the can/bottle opener out of the picnic silverware packs and wire a treble hook to it just cuz we could, they'd hit those as hard as any spoon or bait. that was over 20 years ago and it still brings a smile to my face....

Ya know? I think barracuda are spooky. I've been diving around Belize and the cuda are like barflys around a pretty woman. You're checking out coral when, like a missile... there's a barracuda - staring at you with one big eye. Then BAM! Gone like a flash.
Two minutes pass and BAM! There's one right over your shoulder again, staring at you with that big ol' unblinking eye.

Only had him two days and he is great. 100lbs of pure muscle!! He pulled me all around petco today and I'm not a small guy!!
Rescued him and glad I did. Lets say NO one wanders on my property!!
