The AK Bowie is totally diff than the seax. THe AK Bowie, one of my faves, is much more point heavy, a chopper slasher with some point use. The seax is quite neutrally balanced, best fo lighter cutting chores or as a back up stabby stabby thing.

They look like *very* stabby stabby things. I'm not sure I'd be safe with one.

I'm certain that we could pull together 5 or 6 confirmed orders for these stabby stabby things and another 5 or 6 for Bolos (with the super cool "Utility Knife") like you show on your special runs page?

LOL...I thought Ferrous Wheel's description of them was too good not to re-use.

Nasty, if you can get the Kami's to make an HI Bolo (we used to call it the BK Bolo) I'll buy one. After Bob got his, a number of us ordered them, but the Kami's made the wrong knife.
I've been waiting years for one and would also pay in advance to get one.

Still waiting to see if he would be able to split the minimum at all (there might be business or even cultural reasons he can't). *Then* he'd have to see if they can make them the way the one on the special page shows...and that might be a whole different issue!
I appreciate the support for the idea though...that'd be at least two already and most folks haven't even read this thread yet.

Well, I hope we can make it work. I'm not interested in a Seax, but I'll take an HI Bolo just like the one on the site.
