Yeah, me too. Auntie asked me how big we should make them. Considering the last batch of valas was considered "too short and heavy" by many people, I figured we'd leave as original at 18" and try to see if the kamis can shave a little weight off of them. Trying to get them more welsh trench sword like.
 
I think in the future we'll need a Micro Minie Smatchet like 6 or 7"s or so. Kind of your basic everyday Smatchet, don't leave home without one.

Funny how as my mileage increases I'm more into little things and sometimes large things. Perhaps an evaluation of some sort is in order.

Bawanna you just need a spear. I bet Doc has one! You could get your evaluation at the same time:D
 
Doc can send the spear, everytime he snaps them rubber gloves at the wrist I cut an run, (well roll really really fast).
I mean who needs rubber gloves for a mental eval ya know, I think he wants to look for a brain or something, like good luck with that ya know?

Ha.... I've been thinking the same thing. A Vala at about 10" or 12" would be a pretty cool thing....but first things first, you know. Get the big ones made first and then tell the kamis to downsize it.
 
Reckon if we washed em in really really hot water they'd shrink?

I agree we'll go with the big bad boy man sizers, first.

Then the mini me little man sizers can follow.
 
I really want to speak for one, but without knowing the price nor when it will be made, nor when the Scara Suga will be made I'm not sure I dare. Yet I really want to get one of these, especially if this could be the only chance for a long time. Come to think of it I also need to file my tax return. Working part time as a student, I didn't make enough to get hit by income taxes.
 
Aw hell, put me down for one, Karda. I want one, and there's no way around that.
 
Would there be a way of making one that is completely non-reflective while in the scabbard? I really like what I see, but I like the idea of one that doesn't have anything to reflect on the scabbard or handle or guard.
 
I havent bought a knife in a while, But for a smatchet il save my pennies for one. You can put me down for one too :)
 
looks like a good run of at least 15 knives -- hopefully enough to get the run made!

No word yet. The order was just put in. With the power outage in could be a few months before we see them. I just don't know. Better to just wait and see rather than prepay.
