HI Villager Farm Knife by New Kami Tirtha

I think it would make a great camp knife.
I like the Cherokee Rose a lot, also. It's a sweet rendition of a traditional Bowie.
 
Some good news guys:
It looks like I'll be picking up one of these bad boys (perhaps the 2nd one as warty already snagged the 1st?). I'll definitely put it through its paces as well as write up as thorough a review as I can of it. From the looks of it, the knife was heavily influenced by my sketch up, so I'm really itching to see how closely it handles to what I expected of the design.

Sadly, I doubt the July shipment will arrive before the 8th (when I go on my 4 day camping trip) but I'll still try to put it through a variety of chores to see how it handles. Stay tuned my fellow HI fans! :thumbup:

Yes - that would be my fault/doing. I believe the design was based predominantly on the drawing I posted in the Rambo 4 knife thread. The cho/SoS was added in as I had the AK Bowie partially in mind while making my sketch (which is also not a khuk but features the cho/Sos).

Killa, it really is gonna depend on the arrival time of these knives.
I have already emailed Auntie to say I may not be able to pay for this depending on the time of arrival.
Things have sort of snow balled on me and now it is time to fix myself or pay the price.
I don't make a lot of money on disability so all I have is my credit rating should the bottom fall out.
This means I have to protect it like a chunk of gold or wind up out in the cold if something happens to what small cash flow I do have....

That's a shame warty... take care of yourself first and foremost. I'll do as good a review as I can and perhaps it'll help you decide once you get things sorted out (though I guess you were already decided prior to the problems arising).
