High End Carry Knife

Hey guys,

Lately it seems I have picked up the "High End Carry" bug (HEC). I've been doing tons of research on some more expensive knives, and I have to say, the small Sebenza 21 really strikes my interest. It is just such a beautiful blade in my opinion.

I understand that some absolutely love this blade, and others hate everything about it. I respect both opinions, this post isn't to start an argument. The Sebenza just does it for me. I am so close to ordering one! I am just trying to convince myself to part with the $350 :p.

What are your favorite HEC blades? What is the knife that "does it" for you.

You beat me to the punch! The Small 21 is my only high end knife and it definitely "does it" for me :).

The Ps4 is also a fantastic keychain multitool :thumbup:
 
I just got a small insingo, and I haven't stopped carrying it or playing with it since I got it. At this point, I'm not sure what knife could pull me away from it.

I'm just curious, what made you choose that blade shape versus the drop point?
 
I couldnt choose between small and large.

luckily I found a high end cutlery and they had many models I could examine.

large was nice but too large for pocket carry.

So I got the cocobolo inlay.

I carry this daily and everyone loves this knife and especially the inlays.

last night I finally dissembled the sebenza and cleaned/oiled it.

love how easy it was, very few parts and all were quality parts.

That combo is perfect 4 me too. I've been carrying the ps4-small sebenza combo for about1year now and i love it!...so much that i made some s90v blades for both of them(+ the ps4 has ben seriously moded with cf scales, special grooved pivots, black oxide screws, phsfor bronze washers and a brakeaway lanyard 4 neck carry).
The small Sebenza fits my hand perfecty and imo is the perfect small,urban, high end edc.

Buy a small Sebenza. Just do it.
I have 2, insingo and regular. They're both flawless. I mean literally 10s all across the board. If I could go back and talk to myself before all this knife collecting nonsense started I'd say just buy a regular small Seb, and don't bother with anything else.

Small Sebenza is a great choice that should serve you well for many years.
Don't forget to post pics when it arrives.

Also, not sure if you are aware of the many inlay and graphic options available to dress it up a bit.

That's the motivation I needed!:D Thank you for the advice. I think I will be placing my order quite soon!
 
Whats with that HTM on this guys CR post? Personally I find the Madd Maxx or whatever they re called hideous! I wouldn't take one if you gave one to me! IMO just a crap design!! Are they made in China?

No this wasn't supposed to be strictly CR posts. I just wanted to see the different high end knives you guys prefer. Any blade is welcome.
