Himalayan Survival Knife

Sure looks real nice:)
Thanks for the review Jake.
I love my bushman, used it for many years. I can hardly wait to get one of these. I always like to have a spear when camping way out in the wildy.

:D

Maybe the Kamis can also bring back the mini Bushman? I should send mine to her so they'll have this and be able to see the difference maybe?
I get far more use out of the two mini-bushmen I have had these many years than I do the big guy or the Bowie Blade.

yes a mini would be great!

Ditto. Something similar with a 4" blade would be a great companion knife to a khuk or a useful daily carry.

I like the handle wrapping. :) Looks like they took off the scale on the production model. I would think leaving it on would drop the price a bit.

PS- I LIKE spears.

So is everyone saying you would like me to send Yangdu my Mini-Bushman?

I will do this if this is what is needed (and if I get it back) :)

Brother, there's no guarantee you'll get it back. I'll be glad to pitch in $10 towards the "buy Warty the first HI mini bush knife", though! Who's with me?

John

I emailed Yangdu to get the knife she put up for sale and it arrived today. Nice thin blade and looks like it will be a versatile tool. Preparing to leave on a work trip so I can't do much with it right now. I might be able to get the blade sharpened before I leave though.

The one i handled took a wicked edge, Rick:thumbup: That thin edge makes it an incredible slicer.
