Hinderer MP-1

Glad it's all worked out for you. I knew it would with use and a little technique.

My pivot screw doesn't loosen with use and I don't use loctite. Maybe mine has loctite from factory ?

I'm loving my MP-1 more and more every day [emoji3]

Wanted to update. One of our good customers bought the Full Working Finish MP-1. He was not pleased with the action but decided to give it a week since he loves the knife. He just emailed me today to say it flips great now and it is his favorite model. You just got to give all those parts a chance to work together as they are very tightly made.
 
It's got character this knife and I think the danger is that people won't have the patience to wear it in/research the forums etc. If it doesn't catch on, the HMBS won't be economical and accessories won't become available. The biggest breakthrough for me was using a little silicon lubricant. Highly unimpressed with Hinderer's customer service though, never got a reply to my queries from Rob Orlando. Looking to get a deep carry clip for it now. Here we go again, flip, flip, flip, smile, flip, flip, flip, grin :-)

Did you email Rob direct? There contact us part of their site has had major problems as of late and it has not helped that Rob has been out of town. If you emailed him direct please shoot me an email and I will make sure he gets back to you ASAP. He is normally johny on the spot when it comes to emails.
