love the kicks youre using, did a breast cancer event with UA in los angeles a little bit ago. great company. do you run with your xm?

now these are the gloves i use when doing any bag work or lifting. i don't think i'll ever stop getting flack for wearing my vibrams though :grumpy:

Aren't Vibrams on the decline or are they still hot. It seems like they'd be uncomfortable, are they?

Good man, work that heavy bag, it's one of, if not, the best training devices ever created IMO. ;)

I'm not really sure if vibrams are on the decline or not, the runners i know wear them, and the casual runners i know generally wear regular shoes. My picture and the one you posted are the trek sport vibrams, these have tread so you can hike, or trail run. I've never used any others, but these feel great. I really enjoy using them when trail running, cause if you hit a river, they don't hold water in. I think they're extremely comfortable and would wear them all the time if it weren't for flip-flops, and dressing nicely :p If you have an REI near you go try on a pair, the people there are extremely helpful/nice :thumbup:

heavy bag and some free weights, and i'm peachy-keen. Though i do miss going to 24/hr fitness, unnecessary spending :/
 
I've never tried a pair - but on your recommendation maybe I'll check 'em out. :thumbup:

I really miss those "made in India" leather flip flops from back in the late 70's - early 80's that had the big toe ring and one that wedged in between and came back to the cross section. Once broken in, they were amazing. They vanished from the market one day and I've been bumming for decades. :(
 
JT is a "Burk Man" just like the "other" JT :)

I remember those toe ring flip flops, you soaked them in water first and then wore them dry to break them in.
Yep, I might still have a pair in a box along with my black light and lava lamp.

I was dubious over posting a photo of my birks, I'm no hippy or tree hugger and I dont wear them Deutsche style (with socks).

I do however still have a lava lamp, tucked away in storage somewhere.......
 
No doubt my friend. The "Burk" crowd here is probably a far cry from the rest of the civilized world. Here you would be a rather Large unshaven Lesbian Woman with a bad attitude and a repugnant aroma of unknown origin, possibly you would NOT be a huge fan of weapons in ANY form including Knife.
I would not be seeing either of you at Blade, at least you have an excuse.
