So I did it again... may have been drinking and Ebaying and ended up with this knife. I bought it after contacting Hinderer as a paramedic and finding out they won't be cranking out any XM24s until at least April 2014. I got it and it's an absolute beast. I owned a ZT 0561 and , while it was good, it's not the real thing. This thing is big, it's heavy, and locks up hard. Anyhoo here's the goods

New generation with logo as pictured. S35VN steel at 60-61HRC, stonewashed as is the Ti slab. Blade is .185" thick 7.8 Oz but feels like about 3 lbs in hand ;) . Comes with soft case, no box. If a box is that important I'm sure I may be able to talk the folks at Hinderer knives for a new one... I believe those are still in production at this time although they may be backlogged a bit. For size comparison I have it next to a SPyderco Tuff, Millie and Paramilitary 2. Lock up is early and tight as pictured.

Not sure what I'm looking for exactly. Large Busse knives are very attractive, firearms, maybe gear... Hell, who knows. I'd prefer to sell but I'm interested to see what kicks up here.
