I recently purchased a new, still in factory package, old-stock set of Barami Hip Grips. They didn't fit the gun they were intended for.

Emailed Barami and described the problem. Got a call back from some un-named guy who said "It sounds as if you're trying to put a set of Square Butt grips on a Round Butt frame. At least that's the only way we can duplicate the problem you're describing.... Yes, it sounds like they were mis-packaged."

Unbroken factory packaging from Barami indicates the grips were mfg'd for the gun I'm trying to put them on. Discussion with Barami indicates a packaging problem on their end. Add to this the fact that I've purchased multiple sets of J Frame grips from them in the past.

How will Barami handle it? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. Zippo. They will do nothing - not even an exchange at my expense.

I will never purchase their products again.

They agreed with you that they were mis-packaged and still won't help you?
Am I reading that right?

If so, I agree to your last sentence.

(Edited & re-written to make this sound a lot less testy - I'm disgusted with Barami, not irritated with responses intended to be helpful.)

My issue is not getting a refund or otherwise getting satisfaction from the person I bought them from.

My issue is with a company that mis-packages an item, or sells a badly-molded item, and refuses to rectify the problem after admitting that the problem is clearly theirs. That's a piss-poor way to do business, and that's what this thread is intended to call attention to.
