What's a knife in your collection that flew under the radar and doesn't get the love it deserves? Let's highlight some folder's in the last ten years that need to be known. Mine would be the VDK Pioneer of the Nile. Sold it once and missed it so much I tracked another down. This one is staying in the collection. Crazy, melt in your hand ergos, and a smooth action that would give a Shiro a run for it's money.

My Boker Tech Tools. These days I use larger knives, but I used to carry various SAKs daily until I was 30 or so. Only have one left now, as the Tech Tools are just so much better. Better steel, better mechanics, better scales. Don't understand the lack of popularity.

I've only ever had their fixed blades. I wasn't aware they made higher end folders. Looks like the action is pretty smooth. Might have to check one out.

I will go to my grave protesting the lack of love the ZT0909 got. Great hard use work knife, great action, beefy liners. Simple no nonsense user with plenty of belly and tip. They can keep their pocket jewelry. The discontinuation of the 909 was the beginning of the end for my appreciation of ZT.

I never understood the lack of enthusiasm over the Dendra line made by Lion Steel.
Even when they were heavily discounted no one seemed interested.
Maybe it was the use of D2 steel at that price point?

Strongly recommend grabbing a Pelican mini by Kizer, they were recently discontinued and if you can find one on sale they're a great lighter alternative to the 0909 blade style.
