looks like a good day on the water, I'm an avid fisherman myself but that's the first time I've seen one of those rods, pretty cool setup, hows the casting distance on it? Or do you mainly troll?

They don't cast bad at all. You'd be surprised. Pretty handy out of a kayak or canoe.

They actually have bow-fishing tournaments on the Illinois River. Apparently they dig a hole and make a mass grave of Asian carp when the tournament ends.
It looks like fun, but I've never tried it.

Haha, that's hilarious. Man, that is a beautiful place. Very different from anything around here.
