I had the same thought when I saw that thread on Aldo's headaches. This must have been a batch from just before the bad smelt. The knife cut sisal rope better than any knife I have made. I also received it in mid March, before that batch shipped and I did not receive an e-mail from Aldo informing me of the issues.

Have to say it looks like Aldo handled that well. I will use him again.

Nice work! I don't know many of the knife makers in SE Nebraska, but I do have a friend in Fairbury who has been making knives for several years. His name is Bryan Breeden. He would be within driving distance if you ever wanted to go see another shop.
