Ok rather than getting my girlfriends 8 year-old boy yet another LEGO set. We got that bright idea that I get him a real Bow and a few archery lessons.

I liked it.:cool: :thumbup:


Now what the heck do I get her??? I thought of getting her the same thing so they could do it together.

Of course this all means that I need a custom bow:thumbup: :D :p :p

First of all, Legos are an awesome gift and I'm 24. I guess thats the nerdy engineer in me.

Second, is this a round about way to explain the custom bow you already have on order?

I'm out of ideas - I can't even decide what to get my woman.
 
That spread is sick.....if you get a bow you can go to a pro shop and buy one off the rack that they can set up for you that will work great for her, I shoot a Mathews and they make some slick shooting rigs. Of course you will have to buy the rest, sight, release, arrows, etc.... nice collection of blades by the way! If you end up getting one your self check out the drenalin model.

That is exactly what I did on the way home.:thumbup: Went to a pro shop near a range and got him a starter recuve, 6 arrows and some 90 minute lessons. I figure if they like it they can pick a beter bow when they have som idea about what a "better" bow is for them.

From playing golf all my life I don't like to see people get off to a bad start. It's funny to see how many fools use Tiger Wood's clubs. Gee whay not pick something a little harder to hit well :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

If you gave her a choice of any blade from that spread and she took a satin AD-- You got off LUCKY!! It is hard to see any of them leave the bunch though! Great gift
 
Thats a good choice for the little guy to start off with.....
You are best off with getting your girl metal as a gift this year as well but try for a softer less sharp selection like GOLD!
 
Buy her a leather sheath for the Satin AD and soak it overnight in her favorite perfume..... and tell her "I LoveYou" (make a slight gasp after telling her this for proper effect)

This isn't your usual "girl" she hates to shop, likes to ride bikes, loves to climb rock walls, doesn't care about cloths and likes small diamonds.

Skunk said to me last week, "....well if she comes to blade she can go shopping with all the women."

She would frigging KILL ME if I suggested that:eek: :eek: :eek:

Errr gave her the sheath last year.... and she can't stand perfume :o
