Hog Christmas ideas…

I think what I got him was a maybe a Hoyt:confused: lower line breakdown recurve.

.

You did well then. Hoyt is a very good brand. They supplied for the US Olympic Archery Team for quite some time. They may still. Anyhow, you sure didn't short him.

Sounds like you have a real nice lady there fella! I went from one that could only fly first-class and spent $150 a month on hair products to one that doesn't even wear make-up and looks incredible without it.

So far:

Valentines day: Mathews Mustang bow
Birthday: Remington .243
Christmas: Browning boots and Camo
Anniversary: Treestand, jewelry, and a whole lotta lovin'

That's a great idea for him!

Check out Three Rivers Archery and get him set off in the traditional direction. They also have several videos and books that might inspire him and give him some direction. The Hoyt is a great choice.

Why not get her a bow as well? Seriously, they could have a heck of a fun time together as they learn.
Don't actually get her a bow though, a gift certificate would be better. She will need to be outfitted for a proper draw, fit, etc.
If you need something to present her with just get her something sexy and green, and a feather for her hair and she can practice robbing you before she actually learns to shoot:D

Good times, good times...

That's the plan. The shop owner said that when she comes with her son for a lesson he'll fit her for a bow then. I have enough room up in Sonoma to have a 150 feet to a target and within 300 feet of the house there is open space that must be 600 yards so we'd have room to use them there.

Cool!
Now that 600 yds. might require somwthing with a little more power. Have you told her that you need a nice bolt gun with a scope yet?:D

Wow Tony! That's more than one range. You could set up for an event with that much space. Very Cool!

Well the 600 yds is part of my neighbor's land (well one parcel). I think they are the second largest land owner in the county number one being the state.

I didn't tell her about the bolt gun I did tell Skunk and Lunde so I have some high expectations this December 25th.

.

You're waiting on Skunk too! I keep waiting for my Barrett 82A1 shaped package under the tree from Skunka Claws. I know I've been good/bad enough.

"A wedding ring"?
Why would she marry him if she gets her Infi for free?

Yup! It's the old "Why trap the Hog if the truffles are free" tactic:eek:

Be careful Tony, one day it's a plethora of minty Battle Mistresses and then one day you open the safe and all you'll have left are users and Game Wardens;)
