Hog Diet?!? I need to fatten up...

Seriously guys, I need to find a diet and foods that will fatten me up or bulk me up. Those of you that saw me at blade understand. Apparently I have lost some weight and am skinnier than normal. Whatever that was to begin with :confused: So, help my health out and tell me what I need to beat anorexia lol :o

Do what I did, cut yourself down to one meal a day and drink beer. My metabolism really took a hit. Now I am going to have to bust my butt just to get my metabolism back up so I can eat three a day without putting the pounds on. Not intentional on my part mind you, but when you are taking care of two kids and trying to keep the house clean, you forget to eat.
 
Well, right now I don't drink. Breakfast is a cigarette and couple cups of coffee. Lunch is if I can find something to eat or go without or have coffee. Dinner is usually a frozen dinner or something of that nature.

Exercise right now is extremely minimal.

Give it a few years, I was just like you until I hit thirty something. Now I gain weight just looking at food ;)

20 rep squats, deadlifts, benchpress, chin-ups, and 1/2gallon+ of milk per day.
Eat 6 small meals per day - chicken/rice + veggies and fruit. Protien shakes in between.

If you don't believe me go ask Governor Arnold.
 
Peanut butter and pizza with lots of cheese......those are my weaknesses!

Just join your local AK Club or Power House or Polaris ( power lifter place )

Don't get an ego or felt out of place, yeah sure get some protein powder / met-rx or whatever meal replacement supplement you want. Add some quality calories and protein.

Don't be stupid and show off; do what you can now without hurting yourself with a journal " don't have to specific " just to let you know where you are. Then the bulk and the rest will follow. Mental, mental, mental is the key!!!!
 
I packed on 20lbs this year simply by changing to a desk job... it works ! (especially when every edible thing in your cafeteria is free...)
 
I would need that too. I'm 5'11 and 130 pounds, no kidding.

Only problem: both my parents have a high cholesterol so I have to watch what I eat too...
 
If you ever want to stand a chance at the Blade Show don't gain any weight. Use it to your advantage. You should be able to slip right in between some of those hogs who square off to the booth like a bunch of offensive linemen from the Cleveland Browns. Also, you might want to consider investing in a new age stun gun.

I know you don't like where you are, but I wish I was able to not eat. I have zero willpower. Hungry? Pffft. Who needs hungry??? I'll just eat because it's something-o'clock.

I would consider those old-people canned shakes such as Equal or something. Tons of calories that you can add at lunch and/or bfst. You are clearly just consuming too few calories. One meal a day and coffee??? What's that? 1,000 calories at best? You need to double that.

And Porkybear - I'd consider the cattle prod they used in Casino at Blade if I go. BZZT BZZZT BZZT BZZT BZZZT. "Hey Jer. Thanks for the cool knives"
 
Well, when you're 6'2" and 147lbs with clothing and knives, and start losing weight, yah tend to worry lol.

I'm at a desk job, but need to start exercising more and quit smoking. Need good foods to help keep my weight from decreasing :)

This is the healthiest advice so far, my friend.

Muscle is denser than fat...and far better for you.

You might also find small meals more appealing than larger ones -- but you're going to have to make yourself eat. No food = no weight gain! The exercise ought to make you hungrier.

Of course, you ought to work cardio in there, too!
 
I was going to tell you that you need to screw up your metabolism, but it sounds like your diet already has you there.

I would try to get back to three squares a day, then exercise.

You need protein (meat), you need carbohydrates (bread and pasta), you need vitamins and minerals (vegtables, fruit and milk).

2,000-2,500 calories is ~normal, don't be afraid to go over 3,000, but make them count, don't drink 1,500 calories of Classic Coke.
 
Cardio might not be that great, it takes the lbs off.

If you take in more calories than you can burn, Cardio is fine and you will still be going in the right direction. If your body burns whatever you feed it, too much cardio might make you go backward.

I would start with 50-50 strength training and cardio, then cut back the cardio a bit and see what happens.
 
The best way I heard to describe KaaK...he is the only person who has to move around in the shower to get wet!!! That is one skinny white boy......almost transparent white.....oh yeah, my wife sends her regards!!
 
I have to say the protein powder shakes in between meals ought to help you put some weight on. I knew guys that would lift all the time. They slacked off the lifting but didn't give up their shakes. They had some table muscle in no time. If it gets worse and you are worried, go see a doc KAAK. You may have a chemical imbalance. Insulin and your thyroid can really mess with your weight.
