HOG muk!!!

He said (or posted) that the HOGMuk was gone...
Not the BussMuk and MiniMuk.

Now... for all I know, he just meant the name.
Cuz the HOGMuk and the BussMuk look pretty much the same to me.

.

I really hope the MiniMuk is still in the works as well as the Baby SarSquatch. Personally, that would be the ideal INFI outdoor/hunting/skinning duo for me.

I am hoping for a choil-less muk, even if it's a one time, ganza only offering.

Me too!

Once again I 100% agree with ya Elen..

Very nicely said.......

Speaking about choil s ... For the most part I love em.. Choils on most of the Busses are sweet. ie. SHSJ , FSH, FBM. ect...
I would buy BAIIIs if they had functual choils but any blade smaller than that it is pointless to have a choil..
Another thing ... Why the Fuc* do the busse swords , ie AK and RUCK have choils ?????? It looks ok but they serve absolutly not purpose.. Any one choke up on their AK when using it??? LOL .. I'm not bashing anything but just trying to make sense out of the choil situation since it has been brought up... :)

That would be something I would very much like to see, and would certainly buy one. Or two. Or three. The choil interferes with performance in precision work, on small to medium knives like the GW and AD. When the cutting edge is taken farther away from the hand, you lose a lot of control over the cuts. The closer the edge comes to the hand the better, the less between there the better. A small guard would be okay, since a lot of folks seem to want one, but I don't find any purpose to a choil like those used currently. And that is meant with no disrespect - we're all human, and do things the way we're used to doing things. There are certainly many small Busses with choils, so it would be great to see a small Busse that doesn't have one - it would have much better edge control in fine work.

The BabySAR has two designs... and we have yet to see the one on top.

Thats the one I'm waiting for. ;)

AUGH, I hope we're not going to get just the top one. The lower, choilless one would be much more useful in small work, and it's pretty hard to chop with a 4" blade...

I agree with Uncle_Jarvis on choils on larger knives. On FBMs, Steel Hearts, SARsquatches and such, choils serve a functional purpose - you can use them in smaller work to transfer your grip right next to the cutting edge and ease the blade heavy balance a bit so the knife feels lighter in hand. And I guess on the swords you could use them to choke up on to shave those arm hairs, but seriously... :D But on small knives, like 5" of blade and below, there's just no point to choils that I can see, except as 1) decoration and 2) a very slight aid in sharpening. Of course, they seem to be a common thing in American knife designs, and the talon hole certainly is a "sign" of Busse, but it would be great from the perspective of functionality over form to have a choilless small Busse. A man can dream... :D

Will it become an item since the SY produced the Muk in their line? I love my SY Muk and would like an Infi one too.
