Just bought a sterile unnumbered HOGFSHLE. How do these relate to the numbered run?

They are the same animal, just without the "stripes"...whoever originally ordered it requested that it be sterile. Busse was agreeable to these types of requests (sterile, numbered but no logo, logo'd but no number) on the LE versions until the ASH-1 offering.

It is rarer, as not many requested this, but it's still an LE.. Your FSH LE's 'serial' number should be under the handle slabs somewhere.
