Hogue/Elishewitz EX01 review and pics. (you will want this knife)

google provides "Warranty: Limited lifetime warranty to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship."

I use Yahoo. I've been burned by google before.

"Warranty? I'll tell you what, you can take a good look at a butcher's a** by sticking your head up there, but wouldn't you rather take his word for it?" -Tommy Boy

Has anyone actually dealt with their warranty?

it's a well known gun accessory company. searching for reviews on their grips/etc should tell a tail of their response. i would suspect that since they are one of the number one companies that ones finds at $localGunStore, they'd come out good.

combine that with the designer's name, and i would THINK he wouldn't want that associated with badness...

that said, the knives have not been on the market that long, and they look like they are top notch in all ways, so i would assume they would take care of you in the rare event of a failure. short of abuse, i don't see these knives having issues.

if one mods the knife to be auto, and you mess it up, that's on you.

i want one real bad :)

or two ;)

Can someone PM with a link on where I can pick up a full size micarta version for a great price. These are around $200 where I'm looking and out of stock on the full size micarta.

Thanks

I know its been a while since a post in this thread but just a little update. I have been carrying mine quite a bit at home (I have another work knife) and so far I have been very pleased with the 4 inch drop point. I has handled everything it should. The other day my daughter killed her first deer and this is the knife that I had on me. Well I field dressed that buck in short order with the EX01, it was like butter. It was not unwieldy as I had earlier thought for this chore. Anyway thought some might want to hear that.

I had a 4" aluminum tanto and really liked it. Could not find a thing wrong with it. I did not really like the aluminum handles so I sold it. Now I want another with G-mascus. I really liked that tanto blade. I usally don't like them. They are fine made knives I think.
