Is anyone else excited about this knife? I have two EX-01s and can't wait for this one. It's a liner lock intead of button lock. My EX-01s are butter smooth. I think it will make for a great flipper!
It's the middle knife in this picture and it's coming soon. :)

I believe this picture was taken at Blade Show 2010 by Allen Elishewitz.

I am!
Allen said that they might be producing an EX-03 by the end of the year too!

That's one I'll definitely be looking at. My Ex-01 is amazing. Hogue is off to one heck of a great start. If they keep it up, they may give the big players a run for their money.

Definitely interested. Love my 3.5 EX-01 now and am sure this will be impressive too!

The prototype is pictured. I am excited to see the production version. I think it will be a little more expensive than the EX-01 which is fine as long as it's as smooth as the G-mascus versions.

Definitely would be on my "want" list. I've got the EX-01 and pretty darn impresed by it.

I wasn't excited about the EX-02 before, since I hadn't even heard about it until I saw your post. I'm definitely excited about it now, though!

the EX-01 is an amazing knife. Im sure this one will be equally as good. it looks like it will have a better handle. that's my one complaint about my EX-01- i feel like i cant grip the handle as well as some of my other knives. but it works great for EDC roles, but i fear putting it through "extreme" (their word, not mine) use.

does anyone know if the fixed blade hit stores yet? I wouldnt mind picking up an EX-F01, but not for the price the Hogue website lists them at.

Mr. Allen is such a nice guy! I met him at the 2003 Blade Show and I was so star struck I forget I had a brand new just purchased at the show 735BT on me! The new Hogue line looks impressive!

I know what you're saying. I think the EX-01's handle is plenty strong but it is slight in the hand. A thicker, rounder handle with the flipper working as a guard will feel great.

I'm excited about the Hogue brand in general they produce some great knives for the money almost semi-custom quality.

This might be a rather weird question, but is it possible to combine a button lock with a flipper blade ? Most flippers are linerlocks AFAIK.

I'd like to be amazed, so far I have been totally unable to find a gmascus droppoint EX01... Why start a new model when you're having trouble manufacturing the existing models?

This looks promising... I bought the EX-01 and wasn't a fan of the button or safety on a manual knife, or short handle on the 3.5". Fit and finish was excellent though...

However, this flipper variant looks good. Real good.

my 3.5 tanto black aluminum is rockin...

their marketing blows... just sayin.... I mean they could have done something really cool like 4sevens lights, wilson combat etc...

it looks like they let someone at the community college do their marketing/packaging... WordArt anyone?

BUT.. I do LOVE their product and their company/designer so... will be buying 2.0 also
