Hogue Elishewitz Extreme Knives EX-02 Flipper

I'm sold on my 4" EX-01!

If/when Hogue releases those knives in the middle photo they are patterned after Allen's custom tank. I'm in for 1 or 2. :)

Rather than hi-jack a thread, I found this one in Google search. I read in a more recent thread that Allen was coming out with a flipper. I emailed him and he was kind enough to answer me and describe the knife (flipper) a little bit.

The EX-02 is a completely different knife compared to the EX-01. It comes as a liner lock, manual or flipper, 2 different blades and it is based off of my Tank model. I do not know the price....... It should be about the same as the EX-01 or a little bit less.

For pics of various Tank models click here!

Mind you these are customs on the websites or mid-techs. He said it will be "based on" the Tank model...hmmm sounds interesting. I love flippers! :D

Awesome, thanks for passing that info along. I'm really looking forward to this one!

I wil be buying one. Allen has quickly become my favorite designer. Hogue has proven they can manufacture better than well established knife companies. The EX01 handle couldn't fit my hand any better.

then its coming out ?? I have two ex01 and definitely will get ex02 , Allen makes great knifes .
to bad I cant get it in D2 .

I am in the market for a flipper and going by the pictures in the first post of this thread I like the design and will be paying attention to this release.

I'd be in for a production Tank. I have an original Tank, with skull inlay, carbon fiber, but it is just too damn expensive to use.

Sheesh...I get asked for pics a lot...ok, I cry Uncle! I'm going to buy a camera today and shoot my collection. Sorry to all those who have waited for me to post pics of my other knives, I guess I'm not much of a photo guy. It seems a little narcissistic to me to show off a collection, but I guess I can overlook that. It's all in the name of fun, right?

Absolutely! Whatever you have to justify doing it for please do. We love pics of cool knives. It's long since replaced any temptation for porn in my life. :D

Wait, I"m confused...knife pics aren't pornographic?

Its the kinda porn your wife wont shoot you over! LOL!!! ;)

Don't bet on it!!:eek::D

Btw, anyone know what the specs are for the EX-02? I've yet to get a EX-01, but all I read are good things about it, so I'm guessing a 4" drop point with aluminum handles should be ordered.:)

I love my Tanto 3 1/2" blk al but I've already got an order in for a 4" black gmascus to mix it up a bit :)

My local dealer is headed to Atlanta and I've asked him to keep his eyes peeled out for any EX-02 (and EX-03...) prototypes
