Thanks everyone for the comments. The size is going to be a little bit different from the EX 01. We are going to have a 3.75 and a 3.3" blades. We are doing this because the skull crushed is going to take some space and might make the knife too big.

Thanks for the update Alphahunter! Are we talking about the EX-02 flipper? I heard it was going to be a linerlock - I think in an email from Allen but not 100% where I read it??
 
The large sounds nice at 3.75" blade but the linerlock is a bummer on a nice flipper. (for me anyway). :(
 
My experence in combat and having to use a knife on two occasions is that I want a Hilt because my hands were covered with LSA, Sweat and blood and both times I hit bone and almost had my hand slip over the hilt onto the blade. One was a Gerber MK 2 and the other was a locally made knife using a file. So I really like the rather large flipper on these knives.
 
I hope they improve the overall balance of the EX02 and 03 from the EX01 days.
 
Should be interesting. Now through a IKBS system, s35vn blade steel and some carbon fiber handles and we will have a knife.

First "proof" or it never happened.......second, upgrade to a CKRT M 16 so that during those long sweaty blade death matches, you have a hilt to protect you from those bone jarring stabs.

I thought the same thing when I saw the packaging! Like they are some kind of knock-off. But I think I might get one seeing as how they have been received so well.
 
Yes. I picked up the CRKT Titanium flipper at the P X quite a while ago. We had a Barbq welcoming home one of our folks from A-Stan last week and a pretty darn good number had these CRKT knives. I have the Titanium and will get the larger one soon. But I want one of Allen's knives just to have one. I'll plan to meet him at the Shot Show next year. I had a recent thread on I Work on the Border or you can go to gatorfarmtactical.com
