Hogue knives

Hi,
Not sure if someone might know but I have a new Emperor Scorpion Auto. I want to change it to a tip up carry. The holes to attach the clip to for the tip up carry have some kind of brass piece in them. They look threaded but I can’t budge them with a screw driver. Any suggestions.
thanks,

Hi, those brass pieces are indeed threaded and in my experience, you should be able to directly screw directly into them.

Hey everyone. I was wondering what the consensus was on hogue knives? I’ve been looking at a few of them but it seems like the information I can find is on the fence. People either love them or they just claim there benchmade knockoffs.
Most consider the Hogue Ritter RSK to be both a better value and overall better than the Benchmade Griptilian. 20CV steel, T8 hardware, arguably better blade shape and handle, reportedly better quality control. People complain about the clip on the mini Ritter (easily replaceable) and rough scales under the clip (sand it). If I wanted a grip, no question it would be a Hogue.

I have an x5 and really love it. The fit and finish are excellent, although the lightweight aluminum scales don't have that heft that adds to it. The blade is a beautiful harpoon and on a large scale. I "only" have 32 knives and this one is a keeper for sure.

Got a response via email-(about 2 weeks ago), they were very willing to send out new screws at no charge, but sent the wrong ones the first time. Second time was the charm, got the needed screws. She was apologetic about sending the wrong ones.

Response came from an individual's email @hougueinc.com, not the generic office @ Hougeinc.com, just don't know why it took so long for the response.
All good now.

It’s amazing how someone can be pro knife and anti gun. We are just different sides of a coin.
Most things in life have some sort of polar opposite, I suppose it’s likely for them to intersect at some point.
It's also amazing that someone could entirely miss, or ignore, the warning from knarfeng knarfeng a couple pages ago and insist on continuing to take this off-topic.

I've looked at Hogue knives for years and been curious about them. I finally have my first Hogue incoming - a Sig X1-Microflip and looking forward to it. I'm generally a sucker for a well done wharncliffe.

Watch "The Hogue X5 Pocketknife: The Full Nick Shabazz Review" on youtube, especially starting around 15:00, which has the best line I have ever heard in a knife review.

Time to re-up a semi dead thread with a relevant question. Didn’t see the need to make a new thread. I see a lot of positive feedback on the Hogue folders. How about their fixed blades?
