Holiday Cookies

Last night I made the red headed step children of cookies...Gingerbread!! I opted out of frosting them this time. I tried to use my trusty MBC for a few and decided that it was great for trees, stars and candy canes but I didn't have the patience for anything that was more detailed. Anywho, day two of treats is Gingerbreads.

Oh my goodness gracious me!!! Lora they look soooo good. Gingerbread is awesome. Especially if it's home made. And if you made it, I bet it's even specialer. :)

That knife handle looks like crushed up fizzy lifesaver lollies. Does it taste sweet and fizzy when you lick it?

That's a very cool looking knife! Awesome pics of your cookies. But those mini blueberry muffins really made my mouth water!

Just wait until you see what I've got in store for Monday! It may not be a sweet treat, but its a treat none-the-less. Everyone in the shop is pretty excited :D

Ahhh....cookies, it's going to be rough getting through the holidays this year. I've been committed to eating healthy since July 7th, so I'm gonna try and resist the temptation....but I know I will fold when my Mom breaks out her nutmeg cookies, they are highly addictive. Gotta stay strong!

No cookies today, I decided that everyone could use a break from all the sweets. It will be a short lived break, I can promise you that. This morning, I got up bright and early and made a bunch of quiche for everyone.

There were three kinds, two of which contained delicious pork products :D

There was Ham and Cheese

Sausage, Bacon and Cheese

And last but not least, Spinach, Feta and Mushroom

Stay hungry everyone!

It looks GREAT!!!:D:thumbup::thumbup:

Back to the sweets today! I brought in a nice big bowl of Reese's Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Dip with Teddy Grahams and Animal Crackers to use for dipping.

After skipping yesterday, oops, I made some delicious scones this morning. Raspberry lemon scones, with a lemon glaze.

Those look great.
I want to announce that I am going to attempt to make real sweet potato pie for Christmas this year. I hate the store bought ones and can not talk any of the family members into making some.
Anyone know how to make one?
