I'm going to call the gaw this weekend to get it out in time before the holidays!

I've been testing the random generator website online and it basically spits out a middle sequence everytime. Instead of using it I'm going to ask my wife to pick three numbers and then drop the numbers in a hat. Hopefully the first number that is chosen is a valid winner!

Entry 3 for me
I have had this knife for over seven years. This one has sentimental value for me.

I'm in, please.
I have a Schrade Uncle Henry LB7, an Old Timer 7OT, and an Old Timer 6OT waiting for me to get back to Idaho.
In the truck with me I have an 7OT, Imperial Congress, and a Hammer Brand (another of the Imperial-Schrade/Taylor-Schrade brands) 4 blade canoe. I am not sure, but I think Ulster was anothr Schrade US owned brand. If it counts, I have one if their "Official Boy Scout" knives, with white covers.
My memory is not as good as it used to be (if it ever was as good as I remember) I might have a Sharp Finger up in Idaho, too. I don't recall if a former girlfriend's brother stole it or not.

5K I asked my wife to pick the lucky winner of the Schrade not 5 minutes ago and she drew your post #51, congrats and please send me your address. I hosted another GAW and would like to get them both out this week in time for the holiday rush! Seasons greetings everyone and thanks for participating! It was really fun seeing all the new and old Schrades on this thread!

Chris

Here's my third entry for Chris' fantastic GAW. I have a Schrade USA + 93OT, pictured below:

Congrats GT. I can't think of a more deserving member to win such a great knife. Chris what a generous give away thank you. Merry Christmas to you both

Happy holidays all! Hope you get to spend some time with family and friends or at least have some nice r and r! The canoe shipped this afternoon!

I'll echo Chris's seasonal wishes to everyone, and report that the canoe arrived in my mailbox this morning! What a splendid knife it is!!:thumbup: It has warm, butterscotchy stag covers that look at least as good as the photos in this thread's first post. Chris put a brushed finish on the blades and bolsters, and he sent me instructions on taking the next step to give it a satin finish, but I may hold off on that for a while; I'm very happy with the brushed finish right now! It's a single spring canoe and the design is new and intriguing to me. There are 3 brass liners on the mark side and only 2 on the pile side, and only the outside liner on each side is "full height"; the others have various "cutouts" and seem to serve as spacers. The main spear runs diagonally across the blade well, with its tang against the pile side bolster and its tip against the opposite mark side bolster. I'll try to get photos to post in the next couple of days; my "word pictures" are less than ideal! :o

Thanks again for the superb GAW, Chris. Seeing photos of various Schrades was very entertaining, and your generosity is MUCH appreciated! Thanks, too, to everyone for the congratulatory posts about my good fortune in "winning" the GAW!:thumbup:
