Count me in... I carry a karambit as a back up weapon on duty (only allowed to carry a single pistol) from Ernie, but would carry that instead..... looks like a winner...

It is hard to be patient sometimes. Where IS that elusive folder ? Only two models every two months, oh well, I'm broke anyway. BUT I bet that Kerambit will be a great GARDEN TOOL. Weeds will up uproot themselves and run, dirt clods will fall apart as it approaches !!!! I think it IS a tool. :D
 
I want one. When it comes time to 'gnarful the garthog' or take on a veloceraptor....I want that as backup after my AK47's been bitten in two :-)

Watch out though it could just be Cobalt in disguise so he can snatch up more INFI. :D
 
Great looking karambit, it will be interesting to see the different color options that will be available.
 
As someone that carries a Karambit as an EDC, this one looks like it has too much hookto be usable.
The finger hole is too small and too thick.
And the Bright Red will stick out like a red flag off the back of a truck with a long load of lumber.

Open up the finger hole, and straighten the blade some, then tone down the red.

Send me one and I'll try it out for you.

That's one wicked piece of steel! So when are these going to goup for slae, yeah I know 2 weeks right? :D I ams still looking forward to getting a Hell Razor. If I can get the funds up before they come off of the website that is, of curse I guess there is alyas the Co. sote or after market right?
 
Had to go and make a kerambit, huh?

I'm going to have to save and purchase one. Actually, the blade and angle are very nicely done.
 
I used to have the same karambit as 1whobuys, but thought the blade wasnt arched quite enough. The handle and ring were just about perfect though.

Looking forward to getting one of these definitely :thumbup:

As someone who has never even handled a karambit, I am curious why you prefer less hook ? (I can understand the aversion to bright colors).
This came up at the karambit forum at USN and someone there commented that the production version looked good and most comments favored that over a custom version made previously by Busse. I don't really know how these are supposed to be used and haven't been able to get a good understanding from looking at free online resources :confused:

Witch Hunter is correct! The Kerambit is indeed a utility knife in Indonesia...not a purpose-made high speed killing tool.:rolleyes:

I totally disagree about the blade design, I think it has a perfect curveature and is more along the lines of the traditional Karambits from Indonesia. As long as the finger hole is at least one inch in diameter than it's perfect for me and most users. Hey but what do I know martial arts has taught me nothing especially specific karambit training!:eek:
