Holy crap! Cold Steel knife thrown thrown through skull analog.

here is a better video of fred perrin throwing the cold steel american lawman, he seems to like them and they seem to hold up well, can anyone translate what he is saying about the knives ??

He said he's used the Mini Lawman for about a year, he's thrown the Mini about 1000 times and it's still secure with no blade play, he calls the lock revolutionary.

If I am relying on a knife, of any type, for emergencies or self defense rest assured that it will not be thrown.

Right on.

Keep some rocks in your pockets if you want to throw things at bad guys. They're just as effective and you have a far better chance of hitting what you're throwing at.

What's with all the lame videos lately? Did these guys ask their mom before they shot the video?

LOL, This thread has brightened my morning.

Thanks for the good laughs fellas.

Rest assured that I will not be throwing any knife any time soon. They are much more useful in my hands. :p

That video makes me quite nervous. If he accidentally slipped, the knife might have spun more than was intended, bounced back and cut him. He's throwing with quite a lot of force and he's very close to the target.

It's Fred Perrin, I think he knows what he's doing.

Warning, extremely gross:

(the Ti-Lite comes in at around 1 minute in)

I don't always click on threads about throwing knives, but when I do, I try to enjoy the inherent humor :p

Per the video subtitle : "This is how Lynn uses his extraordinary fast reflexes and footwork to save himself from serious injury or death"

IMHO an ordinary brain would have kept him out of the situation altogether. But what do I know, eh?
