Holy crap it's for sale!!!

Not even a good reproduction - you can spot it’s fake a mile away…

Plus I prefer the profile of the original.

Take this imposter away. ;)

Sure they did.....The actual dagger found in Tuts tomb is forged from iron, something that the Egyptians of Tuts time didn't do. In addition, the iron is not from Earth, its meteoric in origin......

Oh it was definitely aliens... and that dude in the picture ought to know!

In all seriousness that one is my grail knife. Not in the "there's some chance that you might some day own it sort of way" but in the "one knife to rule them all" sort of way. I wondered what had happened to it after Mr. Lobred's death I had heard that it is now owned by his daughter. Get the pictures while you can guys, I suspect that when this one sells it's going off to a private collection and quite possibly will never see the light of day again as far as we are concerned, certainly not during our lifetimes. It's quite likely that we will never know who the purchaser was nor the sales price until the next time it comes up for sale... if it ever does.

My guess is that it will end up with Sheik whatshisname from the middle east or a high dollar South East Asian magnate of some variety.

Can we put in for a sprint run? I'll take one in FFG and black gold. Also I can't see it being worth more than about $250 since it won't hold an edge very long. And I don't think I should have to wait more than a month..... Thanks... Are you done yet?

I don't get it - it's a modern art interpretation using gold - even if it's pure 24k gold, the weight of the blade & sheath are only about 10-20 oz - which is worth $20-40k

Buster did excellent work before he passed in 2005, and could easily command double or triple that range posthumously... say $60-120k, but jumping to a million?... honestly I don't see it

I guess in this modern age of so many billionaires it's really not a 'lot' - but back in my day, a million was actually significant
