It’s not working for me either. :( Yesterday it was working spotty. I was in town most of the day, and I tried a couple times to load the page on my cell phone, and I kept getting error messages, but every now and then it would load. Then when I got home, all evening I kept trying to load it and it was saying “page not found”. Now today I’m getting the software error. I’m going into Rat Chat withdraw. Any guess on when it will be fixed? And please don’t say “two weeks”… :D

i wonder why everyone has trouble getting on.

Is Porkerson a double agent?

The possibilities this morning are endless, have any?

Eric, you guys really need to hire a professional to consult with and/or manage your internet presence. Rat Chat has been down for 2 days now, and your store needs to be integrated with your main website. You web presence is scattered over four sites...

I understand that SwampShack is a different deal, however, IMHO the information at SwampShack should be integrated into you main site, wherever your main site is.

Propective customers come to RatChat and don't know where to buy product. Prospective customers want to do research on past product and don't know where to go. You guys may not care a hoot about this situation, but frankly it's all very confusing to new users/customers and it makes you fine folks look like a bunch of amateurs. Those of us who have been around a while know you're preeminent professionals. However, I suspect that -- while some of those who are new to SRKW product may be patient and stick around to figure out what is going on -- most get confused, frustrated, and leave.

There is no reason why a pre-eminent maker of hard-use knives should have such a disjointed and undependable web presence.

I can help you, here is some of my work...

...or you can find someone else to help you...but for the sake of the company, do something about it.

Submitted with respect and concern for you rat guys,

Q

I agree with Q. The website has been neglected for too long and needs updated. I think it’s confusing to newcomers, especially when it shows the old line which is no longer sold.

now the forum does not work for me. :( and i agree with Q the website does need some good updates.

I agree with you Q. I was new to the Swamp in December of last year. The situation was just as you described for me as a newbie.......very confusing. Add to that, that I was not used to a knife maker with the ordering policy of Busse family knives.

I just happened to be one of the ones to stick around long enough to figure things out, and of course wait.

As much as I hear you, Q, let me assure you that you're running down a tunnel with no cheese at the end.

Repeat after me: "God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change . . . "

It is a conspiracy to hide the Swamp Rat offering at Balde.....that is what this is all about......now I have to go out for another copy of Catcher and the Rye.
