anyone make a really long one like some of the rain forest tribes do? (8 - 12 feet long)

The longest I used in AZ was a 6 ft commercial model. .40 cal, aluminum, teflon coated in the bore. Pretty fast.

Nice blowgun! I used to have an aluminum tubed 6 footer, had a lot of fun with it.

Bamboo shish kabob sqewers are cheap and make good wooden dart shaft material.
