Just finished up my first knife mod. I know this does not hold a candle to other people's mods or customs from James Terrio, Todd Hunt, daizee and many many others on this forum. I learned a lot and can't wait to start grinding again. This is a gift for Amanda for her birthday tomorrow.

It started off as a 7'' Old Hickory butcher knife.

I ended up with this.

Convexed and rounded the handle. It should be a great bunny skinner.

Been incommunicado for nearly four days. Playing some catch-up...

First, look what I found at Flander Fountain last week. Was about to check out when a guy said to me, "You know they have .22 back there." Ummm... about face. And since I was with my wife, double the limit.

Got this ferro rod at Blade Show from the nice folks at GoingGear and drilled out a piece of antler from the first deer I shot here in TN.
trade, thanks for the tip on JB Weld. It did great. I also used some of the elastic cording you sent me a while back.

Here's what I wound up with. I fashioned the piggyback rod holder and attached it to my trailbum kydex sheath.

The whole rig went with me to Jeff's field survival class. More on it later. BTW, that BK-16 was brand new before the class. It got a workout.

Kicking back right now and making Murph proud with some candy beer.

You .22 stockpile is making me weep openly... I didn't think there was that much .22 ammo in the world..

Congratulations TBL! Mother and newborn are doing well I assume?

Thanks Gus!

They are both doing great! Easiest birth of the 3 by far!

Thanks Lee.... Later I'm going to have my little guy running around with it on... plan to take a few pictures until he breaks it lol

I was talking to someone who shall remain nameless some time ago and complaining about the cost/lack of availability of 9mm and 22LR... when he grinned and said "Don't worry son, I've got you covered."

And that is all I have to say about that. :x

Congrats on Number Three, TBL!

Good luck with the cabin, Warrior. I often fantasize about something similar to that, with the addition of a blacksmith shop.

Biscuit, .22 must be in much greater supply there. How was the price? Willing to do a few straw purchases for a fellow Beckerhead?:D

I was at an outdoor superstore in MI yesterday, and they had CCI standard, $5 for a box, limit of two. I didn't need it that bad.

Going back to page 2 on this one. Deal with it!

Yeah, but I bet you say that to all the guys!:D

Damn right I do.

Got it this morning, sir! :) freaking badass! I will have to get one made for me too..

Congrats! I put in a placeholder on that contest, and then youth baseball took over my life. That is a great Hornet. I handled it at Blade. You're going to love it.

Dropped some coin on momma yesterday.

Going to Chicago tomorrow to pick up my boat. Dropped some coin on my ass too....:D

Feeling the need for speed, I see.

TMI. Infraction inbound.

Tis true. I need the money, it's sad, but I use the my other beckers far more than the 10. I think if I had bigger hands, the 10 would be my go to, but I really get a ton of use out of the 11 and 9 combined. And I can't sell my 15. I like how it's stabby.

Also, hi everyone! I know I haven't been around much and I'm sorry!

OMG. Captain sighting.

Morning folks. How's everyone doing? Stinking hot and humid here today. Was planning on going on a run, but might just hold off till tomorrow.

Running a 10K Friday. I have not trained like I should have.

#3 shot out like a cannon.

7lbs 13oz

Congrats on the new cannon ball!

Biscuit, .22 must be in much greater supply there. How was the price?

Bricks were $24.99. The other stuff was $7.99/100.

Dubz, I hope you get the cabin!
