homebirth.....

Congrats to you and your wife, glad everyone is fine. Enjoy your new bundle, they grow so fast man.

Wow, At 2 days I am thinking she earned pretty much any of the bad words she chose to call you during labor  Great to hear both are healthy even though the plan went to heck... somehow that seems to be pretty usual though.

we are doing pretty good, i have been working like crazy, and we have been having stressing things pile up but things are looking better at the moment, the little guy is getting bigger and sleeping most of the night

here he is with his big sister
one day at a time right now, but surprisingly the addition to the family has been pretty easy so far..
planning to head to the coast in a week or two and get a little vacation, some time on and near the water with old friends would do us some good

Very cool! Big sister looks so proud! The coast is always fun. I bring my grandkids there and they love it. Something about kids sand and water. After they get about a year old they really start to enjoy it.

Sleeping through the night already wow, that was quick. Hope you enjoy your "holiday by the sea"

lol you guys :)

Shavru we are getting to about 4:30 or 5:00 oclock in the morning before he decides to wake the house, cant really complain though...

Complain heck. From what I remember none of my neices or nephews (very happily none of my own to compare) slept more than 4 hours at a time until they were 3-4 months I think to top it off, I get up at 5:00 to go to work anyways. So really not much to complain about at all. Usually the first is an angel that basically self trains. That way you think golly that is easy, lets have another! Then the second is the devil incarnate. Guess someone forgot to look at the records and see this was your second. LOL.

It's all about the tummy. If they don't sleep all night feed em cereal. Mom and formula sometimes isn't enough especially for a large baby.

My first was a very big boy, don't recall the exact stats but doc told us break out the cereal. It worked on all 3.

I've heard and know of several 3 child families and the 2nd is usually indeed the troubled one. I was very very fortunate that all 3 were trouble free. I told my wife if we had a girl first it would be an only child as I would not have a poor son with an older sister picking on him. She begged me for a girl after the first son and since I knew what causes that we had a daughter. The last one I think was an accident but definitely not a throw back. Keeper for sure.
My own family was per the rumor, my middle sister, both sisters younger than me, thank goodness or I probably wouldn't be here today was trouble. She turned out ok later and the youngest has had a few trouble making issues too but all better now as well.

Nothing serious, just kid stupid stuff. Stuff I'm just now thinking up and plotting with as I approach puberty.

Very interesting. If only I had been a member here back when my niece (the oldest) was small enough this info would have been great to pass on. LoL, I am guessing you have been plotting stupid kid stuff all along Bawanna. That mental approaching puberty in guys seems to last decades. Hubby definately still at that stage and has been since well before the 25+ we been married.
