Holy crap I need coffee. Read that as , would I cook my own mothers meat?

On a lighter note, morning fockers! It's Friday.

Haha, that made me chuckle. I'm also wondering what you wrote before the edit :D

There's a gun show in town today, but it doesn't start until 3. I'm like a kid waiting for his birthday. I've got my eyes on another stripped AR-15 receiver and maybe a Mosin 91/30 or CZ-82 for something collectable and usable.

I say go with the work sharp, since you already have the 9, and we all like convex better than V.

Not everyone likes convex better than V... I don't

Not everyone thinks batoning is great idea.... I don't

but to each, his own... especially with his own blade

Doc

Were you flexing in a tank top when you said that :D

I too have an inkling to get one of those Mosin Nagants, look like an economical good time.

Ha! I actually typed "besides the one in my office" and deleted it out.

If I can find a Mosin w/bayonet for under $120, I'll go for it. Otherwise, I'll just keep waiting for my C&R license to process and then order one from AIM Surplus.

Morning guys, Cam I would also say a bk9
BTW the boss, and his boss, and all the other boss's are going to be in my store today. Should so much fun, that many boss's and it sounds like a video game

Sorry bout that Doc, I was just trying to sell someone on something I have yet to get. :D I figure if I sell someone else on it without owning it, I should be able to pull the trigger on it without thinking twice.

don't take this the wrong way bud, but I try not to give advice on something I don't own....unless I have heard the same thing over and over and over that its a common complaint or compliment..just kinda muddys the water a little ya know..i know you mean well though..

Actually, that's exactly what I was doing, everyone I ask about it has nothing but good things to say about it. Trust me, if it wasn't something with rave reviews, I would not be trying to get other people to buy it if I didn't believe it was worth it. The only reason I don't have one yet is the same reason I don't have more BKs yet.

Here are some pictures me and the GF took at the sculpture park we went to the other week. Stupidly I forgot to get some pictures of my 11 I was carrying that day so there is zero Becker content. Thus it ends up here. Really cool place but it was buggy as hell so we didn't stay long.

Duly noted on this Dubz. I appreciate your input, so feel free to round that off if you'd like.

I think I'll keep the "Old Hicko" on future handles though. It's just straight up classy.

That little bump may not irritate your finger. I'll leave it as is. Haha, I never even really noticed the "Old Hicko". :D Class act. ;)

I have been going to thrift stores hoping to find an old hickory. Would be neat to find a cleaver too. No luck yet but I did get a Kershaw kitchen knife for $1.50.

I hear ya. I'll buy one too to mod one of these days. I saw some in a box in Kampsville, but the guy that owned the shop was mighty proud of his shit. Can't remember the price, but probably more than new.

Yeah, the river website has the 10 inch blade butcher knife for about 20.00 but it will be more fun to find them used and resurrect them. That's what I'm hoping for.
