I hadn't thought about it before, but now that you mention it, of the half dozen horn handled knives I have, this is the only jigged one. Now I think it's kind of cool

Always fun to get a knife with strikingly different sides. Doesn't look like any kind of matching was even remotely considered, but it makes for an interesting knife!

The listing said ebony, but looking at it in hand, I'm quite sure it's horn. It's somewhat dried out, so I think I'll try putting some wax on it once it's all cleaned up.
